Lisa Czulinski ~ MS, LMHC, NCC, CCTP Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Consultant
I’m Lisa (she/they), an existential–integrative psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional offering teletherapy for adults seeking meaningful and sustainable change. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, mood concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs and pacing. I blend evidence-based interventions with creative, intuitive, and solution-focused strategies to help you access your inner wisdom and strengthen your natural resilience. You can expect practical tools, out-of-session guidance, somatic tools, and supportive psychoeducation that foster healing, empowerment, and transformation.
Sessions take place in a warm, nurturing, collaborative, and non-judgmental atmosphere grounded in a person-centered, attachment and trauma-informed, gender-fair, and culturally responsive framework. While healing can feel challenging at times, it also opens the possibility to shift your inner and outer lens—leading to a more grounded, expansive, and meaningful life.

The therapeutic process is personalized to your unique needs. I take the time to understand your history, your current challenges, and the biological, psychological, and social factors that shape your well-being. Together, we create meaningful goals that support the changes you want to see.
When emotional distress begins to interfere with how you feel, function, or connect with others, therapy offers a supportive space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. We’ll clarify what wellness looks like for you and build practical skills that empower you to move forward with confidence.
Counseling can also help you reconnect with your sense of direction and identity, especially during moments in life that feel overwhelming or uncertain. Through a collaborative and grounded approach, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and work toward a life that feels more aligned, purposeful, and satisfying.
While I specialize in trauma, I support clients with a wide range of concerns and welcome anyone seeking clarity, growth, or meaningful change.

Couples sessions are designed to help you and your partner strengthen connection, communication, and emotional understanding. I draw from emotion-focused, systems-based, attachment-based approaches, as well as principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), to support you in building a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.
Whether you’re navigating trust concerns, boundaries, codependency, betrayal, or simply feeling disconnected, our work will focus on deepening compassion—for yourself and for your partner. Together, we’ll practice communication skills that help you better understand each other’s experiences and foster a more supportive, aligned partnership.
For couples experiencing heightened conflict, sessions will be thoughtfully structured and intentionally paced to ensure emotional safety and clarity for both partners.
I welcome LGBTQIA+ couples, polyamorous partnerships, and relationships navigating multicultural or intercultural dynamics.

I make every effort to support you in feeling welcome and safe during our counseling sessions.
There will be minimal note-taking within the initial session to obtain basic demographic information such as your history and a biopsychosocial to understand what brought you into counseling. You are welcome to ask any questions regarding the therapy process, and I will sporadically check in on your experience and needs.
During follow-up counseling sessions, we will collaboratively establish goals and choose the best modality for our work together.
I do not prescribe medication. However, if you are interested in psychopharmacology, I can refer you to a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, or we can explore options with your primary care physician.
Sessions are 50 min, and on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, depending on treatment progress. On occasion, I offer phone sessions if you have technical or accessibility difficulties, but not for long-term sessions.
-
I allow (1) no-show or late cancellation without a fee, then cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours notice will incur a partial session fee.
Sessions are closed 10 minutes after the session begins unless the client offers notification. I like to encourage timeliness as the quality of the session often requires the full allotted time.
My goal is to provide quality care to all clients. I understand that life happens, but no-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only the provider but other clients as well.
